Due to Cyclone Alfred, the Live Hub in Brisbane will be cancelled
This decision has been made through consultations with the GSAA QLD State Rep, the Brisbane Hub Rep, reviewing information from local government sources and emulating responses from other sporting codes.
Our priority is to ensure the safety of our members, athletes and spectators
Athletes will be given the opportunity to submit a video submission or transfer their registrations to a future Interstate Open
All athletes registered to compete at the Brisbane Hub will be sent a Video Submission email with further information

GSAA will be streaming live on their YouTube channel on the day.

WEIGH IN

Athletes must Weigh-In at Hubs on Saturday 8th March prior to the Mandatory Pre-Competition Meeting.

MANDATORY PRE-COMPETITION MEETING

Athletes are to refresh themselves with the Mandatory Pre-Competition Meeting as GSAA Competition Rules 2025, Part 4, Section 8, Page 36.
Mandatory Pre-Competition Meeting will take place 30minutes prior to the first flight of the day, specific to your timezone.

AUSTRALIAN RECORDS & CERTIFIED RANKS

In 2024, GSAA introduced Certified Ranks, which exists alongside the Australian Record Submissions.
With the aim that all athletes achieving a Rank 1 or above are being Judged by the GSAA Judging Panel.

AUSTRALIAN RECORDS & CERTIFIED RANK VIDEO SUBMISSIONS

Please refer to the GSAA Competition Rules 2025, Part 4, Section 15, Page 38, for information relating to video recording set up, athlete requirements, rules and regulations, video submission requirements and deadlines
The deadline for a Video Submission is four (4) days after Competition completion
